The Rope Park company specializes in the design and construction of rope parks. Rope park or tie park (from the English tie – Knot, connection, rope) is a complex of attractions, rope stages placed at a height of more than two meters.
Some of the first rope parks in the world were built on trees for military training in ancient Greece. In those days, there were simply no artificial supports, and a tree trunk is an ideal natural and reliable support for any rope stages. Rope parks on trees will be as natural and attractive as possible for visitors.
ROPE PARKS
During the construction of rope parks on trees, installation of any complexity of stages is permissible, if the quality of the trees allows, then any practical format of the rope park can be built. These can be 1-3 tiered parks, paths and bridges for walking above the ground, parks with a significant number of inclined crossings (trolleys). The length of the park on trees can vary from 100 meters to a couple of kilometers, for this, trees that grow not far from each other are used. The average length of the stage is 10-20 meters. But do not forget that a very long route is quite tiring for visitors to the park, and it is worth making the transition to a simpler level of the park possible. Branches from the main route make the park interesting for all visitors from children to adults.
If the main customers of the park will be couples with children, then it is worth thinking about the construction of a rope park in the format of an “ecological trail”. This format consists mostly of various hanging bridges and crossings, designed for a relaxed walk among the treetops.
Using our options for rope stages, you can independently outline the filling of your future park. For a more detailed development of the park, assessment of the strength and condition of the trees, we recommend inviting our specialist.
Trees as supports for park construction
With proper care and selection of trees, this natural frame can last quite a long time. Trees have a unique damping ability – this contributes to the reliability of the constructed rope park.
To choose the right tree, you should pay attention to the presence of cracks, diseases and general condition of the tree. Ideal for building a rope park are trees growing at a distance of 5-8 meters from each other, with a diameter of 25-55 centimeters. Any type of tree is suitable for fastening the rope elements, but conifers are best suited because they have straight and tall trunks.
On the trees, only wooden platforms are used, fixed with ties, without the use of nails and screws. The safety of the tree, first of all, is your support. To fasten the rope to the tree, during the construction of the rope park, wooden spacers are used to protect the tree from damage.
All four types of insurance are suitable for these parks. You can read about the insurance system for tree rope parks in the insurance section.

Insurance system of rope parks
Four insurance options can be used for the park. On the lowest level, the rope attraction for children, we recommend using a safety net. It makes it as easy as possible for small children to pass the track. You can read about the construction of children’s rope parks here.
For more difficult stages, we offer three insurance options, the best use of which depends on the tasks of the ropeway.
Insurance by flipping
Continuous insurance
