Rope tower Swarovski Kristallwelten
The Swarovski Kristallwelten play tower and playground in Tyrol, Austria, was designed by Snøhetta architecture.
Four different levels make up the play tower, where kids can use a grid to climb to the highest point at a height of 45 feet.
City of entertainment on the water
The German company Wibit Sports GmbH, which is engaged in the production of water equipment, invented a city of water attractions. Here you can ride on slides and swings, climb on trampolines, and also try out a whole complex of different game obstacles. The site is located next to the Golden Horn in Bol, Croatia. This is one of the network’s 60 sites on the Croatian coast.
Japanese children’s nest
Tezuka Architects brings fantasy to life with Woods of Net in Hakone, Japan. Japanese artist Toshiko Horiuchi Makadam hand-woven this rainbow nest for children. Here they can crawl, jump and roll.
New York Giants

A car park in Peru
Located in Lima, Peru, the colorful obstacle park known as the Ghost Train Park was created by the Basurama group of architects.
When creating the park, abandoned railway tracks were used as building materials. In fact, almost the entire site is built from recycled materials, including car parts and tires.
Knitted crocodile
In 2012, Polish-born Brooklyn artist Olek crocheted an alligator in São Paulo, Brazil, in a playground designed by Brazilian architect Marcia Maria Benevento.
Acorns in Canberra
The National Arboretum, in Canberra, Australia, is home to hundreds of rare trees. A playground with giant acorn slides, created by TCL (Taylor Cullity Lethlean), is located at the top of the hill on which the reserve is located.
Airplane Museum
The City Museum in St. Louis, Missouri was originally created by sculptor Bob Cassilli. A group of artists known as the Cassilli Team continued to complete it even after his death.
The 600,000-square-foot museum includes a gym made from decommissioned airplanes, two 10-story slides, a series of multi-story slides, and a rooftop Ferris wheel.

The Danish studio Monstrum is known for its creative playground solutions.

Toy houses of Copenhagen
This Brumlebyen playground in Copenhagen, Denmark was modeled by the design minds of Monstrum Studio as toy replicas of the townhouses that make up the neighborhood.

Cat from Heterborg
Monstrum Studio also built this 50-pound blue whale in Gothenburg, Sweden. Children can climb up his stomach and roll down his back.
Towers of Copenhagen
Monstrum was founded by a design duo, which explains this theatrical union of their venues.
Their tower playground is modeled after some of the most popular towers in Copenhagen, Denmark, and even includes a star observatory.
Children’s railway station
And the last playground authored by Monstrum Studio is “Children’s Station” – an indoor playground at the Danish Railway Museum in Odense, Denmark.
The creators were inspired by the construction of the central railway station in Odense in the 1960s. The site has a moving train and an equipped control room. Here you can study how the heart of the train works – the locomotive.
Vail nests
Officially known as Sun Bird Park, it is located in Vail, Colorado and was built during the Tres Birds Artist Workshop.
Surrounded by bird habitats, the playground is made of wooden nests connected by ropes and bridges.
Sydney Park
Blaxland Riverside Park, located in Sydney, Australia, is the brainchild of JMD Design. It is a hundred-pound soft playground with tunnels, mazes, a water playground, swings and slides.
Park swings
“Swing Time” is an interactive platform created in a temporary park near the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
It was designed by Höweler+Yoon Architecture. The play area features 20 lighted swings that glow from white to purple when ridden on.
Cave of miracles
Bounce Below is a set of three giant trampolines located inside Llechwedd Slate Caves, a former Victorian mine in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales. The playground was created by the company Zip World, which specializes in active activities. This is an underground playground with three trampolines that are beautifully illuminated. It is interesting for both children and adults.
As an option, the same site can be made in a shopping center without any problems!
