The new extreme observation platform “Step into the Void” is built in the French Alps on the Aiguille du Midi mountain. A unique observation deck was installed on the top of the mountain, its feature is complete transparency – the glass floor and glass walls create a feeling of floating in the air. The viewing booth is located at an altitude of 3842 meters above sea level and under the feet of visitors 1035 meters of emptiness to the mountain valley.
The opening took place on December 21, 2013, you can go up to the site on a funicular over 3 kilometers long, which already causes unforgettable emotions, the ascent lasts 20 minutes. “Step into the void” is the most anticipated event of the season for thrill seekers.
